Extra Credit Opportunities
I always recommend that the best way to get a great grade in my class is to do the required work thoroughly on the assigned due dates. However, sometimes students want an extra boost. If you aren't missing a significant amount of assignments, and I've given you the "OK," you may turn in the below assignments by the indicated due dates for extra credit.
The extra credit book report contains three parts: the three paragraph report, a list of important events, and a poster with important scenes to advertise your book.

Lyddie Acrostic Poem

The Lyddie extra credit assignment requires three parts: the brainstorming graphic organizer on Lyddie's character, the acrostic poem, and the paragraph about Lyddie. There is no soft copy of this assignment, and you must come to Ms. Garcia personally to get the poster for the acrostic poem.
